Immersive Cure VR
A 360° VR platform bringing the world's landmarks to hospice patients who could never travel to see them in person.

Overview
This unique project was contracted by Immersive Cure and Viva Vita to develop a VR platform for hospice patients. The idea was to bring a 360° VR video experience to users with mobility and health disabilities, giving them an opportunity to experience and see landmarks they never otherwise would be able to see in person.
My Role
My role was to build a brand-new tech stack within the Unity game engine that effectively communicates between an Android tablet and a VR headset over Bluetooth.
I built the entire platform for this product — from writing the individual packets of data to be sent, to the UI and UX experience for both the tablet and inside the VR headset.
The Immersive Cure product went on to be acquired by MyndVR, a leader in virtual reality experiences for senior care.
