Holler Baller
An online multiplayer sports game you play with your voice — the louder you holler, the harder the ball moves.

Overview
Holler Baller is an online multiplayer sports game where you move the ball with your voice — the louder you are, the more it moves. Built for the 2017 Global Game Jam by Team Bag of Grapes, it turns a room full of players yelling at a screen into the whole point.
There's mouse control for the hexagonal arena tiles too, plus single-player Skeeball and Darts modes for when you don't have a crowd to shout with.
My Role
Built over the jam weekend at the Pittsburgh IGDA site (Nova Place), I handled programming, world building, UI, and engine tech in Unity. The multiplayer ran on a custom UDP-based server/client architecture, and we even tried wiring in a Tobii eye scanner (it didn't make the final build). We took on the 'Another way in' diversifier.
